The Public IIIintercom can also be used as an intercom in an isolation room. In multiple departments, rooms are provided for patients who have a highly contagious condition or are very vulnerable. Often a sas area is provided in front of the room where nursing and visitors can talk to the patient behind glass. It is then very pleasant that the familiar voice of patient and visitor are amplified as normal as possible.
